After breakfast, explore UNESCO World Heritage Sites like Swayambhunath, Boudhanath, Pashupatinath, and Patan Durbar Square. Prepare for the trek. Overnight at the hotel.
On third day, your Jiri to Everest Base Camp Trek, depart early from Kathmandu to Shivalaya by local bus (7 hours 30 minutes). Overnight at a tea house or lodge.
Trek to Bhandar (2,194m) through scenic trails (5 hours 30 minutes). Overnight at a tea house or lodge.
Trek to Sete (2,573m), passing through Likhu River and spotting diverse flora and fauna (6 hours). Overnight at a tea house or lodge.
Trek to Junbensi (2,675m) through rhododendron forests and Lamjura Pass (3,500m), with your first views of Everest (6 hours). Overnight at a tea house or lodge.
Trek to Taksindo (2,971m), crossing Junbesi River and enjoying views of Everest, Mera Peak, Thamserku, and Kantega (5 hours). Overnight at a tea house or lodge.
Trek to Kharikhola (2,050m) through Sherpa and Rai villages (5 hours 30 minutes). Overnight at a tea house or lodge.
Trek to Paya (2,939m) through rhododendron forests (6 hours). Overnight at a tea house or lodge.
Trek to Phakding (2,610m) via Dudh Koshi river (5 hours). Overnight at a tea house or lodge.
Trek to Namche Bazaar (3,440m), the trading hub of the Khumbu region (5 hours 30 minutes). Overnight at a tea house or lodge.
On the 12 day , Jiri to Everest Base Camp Trek, spend the day acclimatizing and exploring Namche Bazaar (5 hours). Overnight at a tea house or lodge.
Trek to Tengboche (3,860m), enjoying views of Ama Dablam, Everest, and other peaks (5 hours). Overnight at a tea house or lodge.
Trek to Dingboche (4,410m) through alpine meadows (5 hours 30 minutes). Overnight at a tea house or lodge.
Spend the day acclimatizing in Dingboche (4 hours 25 minutes). Overnight at a tea house or lodge.
Trek to Lobuche (4,910m) alongside the Khumbu Glacier (5 hours 30 minutes). Overnight at a tea house or lodge.
Trek to Everest Base Camp (5,360m) and return to Gorakshep (5,150m) (3 hours). Overnight at a tea house or lodge.
Hike to Kalapathhar (5,545m) for stunning views and trek to Pheriche (4,210m) (6 hours). Overnight at a tea house or lodge.
Trek back to Namche Bazaar (3,440m) via Thame village (6 hours 30 minutes). Overnight at a tea house or lodge.
Trek to Lukla (2,840m) via Jorsale and Manjo (6 hours 30 minutes). Overnight at a tea house or lodge.
This day is last day of Jiri to Everest Base Camp Trek. Fly back to Kathmandu early in the morning (30 minutes). Overnight at the hotel.
